Un aliaj pe baza de cobalt cu o excelenta rezistenta la temperaturi ridicate si rezistenta la oxidari la o temperatura de 2000ºF (1093ºC). Nivelul ridicat de crom impreuna cu adaosul mic de lanthan produce tenacitate si nivel de protectie al materialului. Aliajul prezinta de asemenea o buna rezistenta la sulfuri si stabilitate metalurgica, ductilitate dupa expuneri prelungite la temperature ridicate. Datorita proprietatilor de prelucrare si sudare aliajul este folosit la executia unor parti ale turbinelor de gaz.
